Pending Payment Files
I designed this screen as part of our effort to implement a Refund Processing platform to offer our client schools that we have integrated into our School Admin Portal and Student Account Center.
The pending files screen allows the internal finance team to view which files are in a pending state awaiting the daily disbursement. The User can also place a hold or remove a hold on files from this page.
Enrollment Files
I designed this page to allow our client school administrator's to be able to upload an enrollment file. Enrollment files contain the necessary information for student's in order for us to send them an email invitation to register for our Student Account Center. This was a manual process handled by internal employees previously. This implementation was an important step for our client schools for self-service.
We followed a full design process for this implementation, including gathering requirements and design review with the line of business, full html/css prototype with user testing and UI integration with the back-end developers during development.
Profile Search & Profile Details
I designed this page to allow a school administrator or internal user to be able to search for and view the details of any profiles that have been created from an enrollment file upload or when a student invites a user to be a participant on their account.
This implementation required several design iterations and reviews with line of business because there is quite a lot of information associated with a profile so it was a challenge deciding what information was important enough to show in the table and what information could be viewed with a second action by viewing additional details about the profile. This screen also allows a school admin or internal user to open the profile in the Student Account Center and view the account as the student does with Admin permissions. We provide the user with several ways to filter and sort the information, including search criteria to filter above the table and sorting capabilities within the table itself. You can also export all or a subset of the data a PDF, Excel or .CSV file.
A full design process was used, including supporting the Business Analyst with requirements gathering, design reviews and iterations, and UI integration with back-end developers during development.
Budget Adjustments
I designed this screen for a School Admin User to adjust a payment plan budget. This screen is also used by internal call center employees who can adjust a payment plan budget while helping a customer over the phone. The screen not only provides a way to adjust the budget but also shows the User the change to the payment schedule, amount paid to date and the current payment info.
