I designed this calculator as a tool to help our students and families plan for their financial needs to pay for college education. This calculator allows a user to enter the amount owed for a term, an affordable monthly payment, a payment plan length, loan length loan interest rate. The User can modify the values to come up with a combination of payment plans offered by us and student loans to meet their financial obligation. In some cases, the User can see that a loan may not be necessary if they go with a longer payment plan. The calculator is fully responsive and can be viewed on any device.
A full design process was used for this implementation, including requirements gathering, design iterations, full html/css prototyping and UI integration with back-end developers during development.
